They are schooled and licensed to understand the architectural issues and building codes for major structural renovations. - An Interior Decorator or Redesigner has the natural insight for decorating your room or rooms but will contract a General Licensed Contractor to perform and oversee any major structural renovations that a homeowner may request.
2. An Interior Designer is a highly paid professional - An Interior Decorator or Redesigner is an affordable professional. Your Decorator or Redesigner will try to use your furnishings and accessories first and change the layout or arrangement. They are not interested in selling you new furnishings and accessories with markups but may suggest some purchases to get the look you desire. They are great shoppers for bargains. Decorators or Redesigners have a natural talent and vision and love what they do.
